Kerstontmoeting met Vladimir Kirasirov & Evgenia Markova

Zondag 15 december spelen tijdens de traditionele kerstontmoeting Vladimir Kirasirov (gitaar), Evgenia Markova (domra/mandoline) en Vasileios Mantoudis (accordeon). Van de laatste kon uw blogger geen opname of foto vinden. Maar wel van de eerste twee.

Evgenia Markova (domra/mandoline). Zij is geboren in Sint-Petersburg (1987). Uit haar website geplukt: "Started to play music when she was six years old. Since 2006 she is studying in St.Petersburg’s conservatory (academy) the name of Rimskiy-Korsakov and working in the State Russian Concert Orchestra of St.-Petersburg. Participated as an invited mandolin player in performances of 7th and 8th Symphonies of Gustav Mahler in the Orchestra of Mariinskiy Theatre. Besides music, Evgenia works as a photographer.  Last year some of her pictures were exposed during the second Biennial of Modern Russian photographs, St.Petersburg, Russian Museum."

Overgenomen van zijn website: "Vladimir Kirasirov was born in Leningrad (St.Petersburg). Plays music since 4 years old. Started to take piano lessons with his mother, then entered a music school. Besides piano he wanted to play guitar. Vladimir started his guitar life in the age of 10. From 2002 till 2006 he studied in St.Petersburg’s musical lyceum. Entered St.Petersburg’s conservatory (academy) the name of Rimsky-Korsakov in 2006. Graduated in 2011. After finishing his education in St-Petersburg Vladimir moved to The Netherlands, and entered the conservatory of Maastricht. He started his Master’s degree in class of maestro Carlo Marchione. Graduated in 2013. Apart from solo performances, he plays music of various genres in different ensembles: salsa, tango, gipsy and folk music. Since 2009 he participates in ClubTango Orquesta. Winner of regional and international competitions as a soloist and as a ensemble player."
